A shirt i made

    Just wanted to share my idea.
    it came to me yesterday morning when i was rushing for school and couldn't find any clean shirts, so i took a wrap around and made a shirt.

    and the shirt is wikkid by the way, again i love how it looks at the back.

    Very nice. I love the racing stipe in the front. Did the material come like that or did you dye

    the material was like that, it was actually a sarie(sp) wrap around skirt that i bought at sea jewels.

    i wonder what it would look like reversed--with the crossover at the front and then tied around the neck at the back.

    Hehe Nimh i thought the same thing so i tried it.
    I hope you dont mind me using your idea retrofishie, my mum used to do it with long long sarongs on holiday to make dresses i never thought of doing it as a top. Sp yea heres it other way round.

    lol great minds and all that.

    actually, come to think of it, i've done that with long wraps over a bathing suit at the beach.

    it's cute as a top too :sunglasse

    haha too true :) well i did change it a bit so dont worry :) also i can still use it as a skirt too because nothings been sewn just tied differently :)

    retrofishie, how did you tie that? i usually tie them up like fleassy did...

    sarongs are great...skirts, tops, dresses, blankets....so versatile

    Mama, i actually sewed it together, just cuz i was going to school and didn't want anything to happen, but i think i'm gonna add button holes so i can change it around.
