This is almost a half hour of three separate interviews with Brian Wilson that CBS Sunday Mornings did over time.
There was a special aired Sunday - honoring the Beach Boys - I am not sure if it was planned because of his death or already scheduled and a coincidence - but the performances were great and it was great to see the Beach Boys honored as they watched from a balcony with a full room in attendance, singing along and clapping, and fully enjoying this iconic group from years gone by. Some of the songs I'd never heard before and the renditions were of the current artists' choosing - but all, I thought, pretty well done.
Lou Christie, 82 (Luigi Alfredo Giovanni Sacco) Pittsburgh native, known for his falsetto voice in the 60s.
Peter Yarrow, 1938-2025 This was weird for me... I was just thinking about Peter, Paul and Mary and was singing one of their songs... I asked myself if they were all still living... and then, a few hours later, I saw that Peter had passed away. I don't know why I would have thought of them, and it's a little weird to me that I now see he has died.
