...don't you just luv em Every morning (on the way to uni) I pop into my local 'greasy spoon' for an egg and double bacon roll (no sauce and the roll has to be crusty). If I'm eating in then I order 2 eggs, 1 sausage, chips, double bacon and a coke. I like my eggs runny so I can dip my chips in them! I cover it all in salt and pepper and squirt on the ketchup What do you order?
You've got to have the lot. Well apart from the black pudding. I usually give the tomatoes and mushrooms a miss as well but that's just me. Eggs, Bacon, Sausages, Beans, Fried Bread and a Hash Brown or two will do me nicely, to go with a nice cup of tea. If it's getting on for lunch time, then there'll have to be a portion of chips as well. By the way, pay no attention to any yanks who talk about having scones in gravy for breakfast in their bizarre take on a fry-up.
I've actually started getting myself up in the mornings for college caff breakfast. 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 hashbrowns, 4 bits of fried bread, beans and a cup of tea, all for £1.50
I'm actually wondering what veggies should do for fry ups. I got out the fake bacon stuff this morning, and it was good, veggie bacon sandwiches, but I'm after more than that. So if there are any other veggies here, just say what you do for fry ups.
I hate veggie bacon, it's foul stuff. Tastes like plastic. For a good veggie fry up, a couple a veggie sausages, eggs and beans with some grilled tomatoes is good for me. Often just eat veggie at festivals, as their veggie food is so nice....
yeh when thinking about life or death ... i always tend to decide on what i prefer to eat first ... before what is right or wrong ethically i mean... shit!!!!! wouldn't want to put myself out or nuthin
I know you're passionate about it, and you've taken the moral highground. I respect your beliefs, and think it's a worthwhile thing you're doing. I just don't agree with you. It's a matter of personal choice, just as much as religion is....
If choice means you directly contribute to death... well to me, you aint the leftie you make yourself out to be... You pick and choose... you have said previousley you care bout animal welfare... yet you still eat them huh what?? ok, you make your choice... i make mine... how about the people / animals that aren't given the opportunity to speak up for THEIR CHOICE? isn't that was us "hippies" are supposed to be here for?.... or do we just pick and choose what is easiest for us?
Vegetarianism is an individual choice. I don't think it's for people to tell others what they should or should not eat. Yes, I care about animal welfare. I'm against fox hunting and animal testing, and the meat I eat is from well sourced, organic, free range farms, thus encouraging more ethical practices in animal rearing by making these practices more profitable. My justification for this is a personal belief, along the lines of the native Americans, that you should eat what you kill, and not kill for any other reason. It's part of the natural cycle, which we, as animals, have not extracted ourselves from. Therefore people who want to make the conscious choice not to eat meat are free to do so, and those who wish to continue to do so are equally free in their choices. I'm not going to justify my choices as morally superior to yours, they're not. Like I said I respect and support your decision not to eat meat, it's very commendable. But to accuse me of not being a lefty because I eat meat is just ridiculous. By that same logic I could accuse you of not being a lefty because you've got a good position in a private company, or you drive a car. These would be ludicrous accusations to make. You can't persectute a person for eating meat any more than you can persecute a lion for eating a zebra....
That's it! I'm going to beat you up! You've brought it on yourself! They aren't scones! They're not sweet! They look like scones, but Becki the Brummy Bint let me know...they aren't scones at all! And like I've told you a hundred times before, don't knock it until you try it!
if you're with me on something, could you possibly make me an honourary UK member...like my good friend Brian! And how long have you been Vegan? Is this a recent transition from vegetarianism?q
What's all this about animal rights? Stop wasting time and energy on it when there are still people starving in this world. Not to mention all our taxes going on the goverment's vendetta against muslims.
