Trump keeps pushing forward the deadline for all the trade deals he will supposedly make (the ones he initially said he had already made but didn't).

More than two weeks later, Trump acknowledged that hundreds or even dozens of deals aren’t possible on such a short timeframe — a point he reiterated Friday at a press briefing at the White House.

“You know, we have 200 countries,” Trump said. “We can’t do that. So at a certain point, over the next week and a half or so, or maybe before, we’re going to send out a letter. We talked to many of the countries, and we’re just going to tell them what they have to pay to do business in the United States. And it’s going to go very quickly.”

 

Judge blocks Trump's order that targeted lawfirm that represented Dominion in its lawsuit against Fox News.

Trump is upset that Fox lost a dafamation suit that stemmed from promoting misinformation about the 2020 election supposedly being stolen from him.

In response, Trump is trying to retaliate by crippling law firms involved in such suits (or any other suits he doesn't like) by not allowing them to access federal government documents.

The White House's first sentence in its statement about Trump's order to block the law firm. It did not state any statutory authority that would give Trump a right to cripple lawyers or firms it doesn't like.

Just as disturbing is that half of America doesn't have issue with those traits and behavior, and some even applaud it as being an asset.

That psychological state of the society is what placs such people in office who then consolidate their power, making it difficult to hold them accountable.

Americans fought so hard and gave up about 418,000 of their lives to overcome fascism during the WWII era. Today, some in the U.S. are defending fascist behavior and voting it into office.

 

Some of the public is regretting that it reelected Trump.

Families are seeing their relatives snatched by Trump's ICE, such as the 64-year-old Iranian woman who had been in the U.S. for about four decades who was arrested at home while she was gardening and taken away in cuffs. She's now in a detention camp in Louisiana.

Some of the people who voted for Trump wanted him to stick to people and groups they don't like. They just didn't want him to stick it to them. They miscalculated.
