I was just rethinking what I said earlier about my overt preference for being seen soft. I still prefer it in most cases. But I've never had an incidental erection in front of a male friend or family member as an adult and now that I kind of play that out in my mind, while I still prefer the look of a soft penis, having a super hard boner in front of a male friend or with a male friend would be fun. Also, quick story about flaccid genitals in front of people. Whenever I'm nude with a platonic female friend, if they ask (in a teasing between friends kinda way) if I'm going to get a boner, I performatively look down at my penis like I need to somehow "check," gently smack it back and forth a couple times, take a rhetorical pause to look at it for another second. Look up at them and say, "No... I don't think so. But, ya know... It's sort of what penises do." Some times I just say, "I dunno. It's not exactly something you pencil into your daily planner."
