I think I’ve always been bi, when I was young I wanted some of my friends, when I got drunk and it was me and a buddy I thought wonder if he’d want to have sex. I had girlfriend s got married and had a good sex live up till 35 then it all down hill many fights about sex, she didn’t want it. Around 40 I got a fwb girlfriend but it was the once in awhile sex life. Sex with the wife was only 5 times a year from age 40 to 53 then stopped all together. I still thought about sex either way guys here and there but when the sex stopped all together it became very much a want and desire. I looked at gay porn thought a lot about it. Went on a gay site looked and finally took the plunge last May. It’s been a year now been fucked by 3 guys and given head to 4 others I like it. I don’t think I’ll stop because it fills in the need for sex and intimacy on the physical level. Is it what I envisioned for my life no but I will take what I can get and enjoy it.

I became bi for one reason-- I simply love to be intimate and sexual with both men and women. This is how my sex life started, and it continues to this day.

For myself as soon as I was getting aroused it was for more then just the opposite sex I just did not expect it. Porn did not make me bi it just made it more clear what I liked

I think that is exactly what did it for me, but I don't think porn really had anything to do with it.!! I think it was more the lack of human contact during sex. Masturbation is/was nice, but it's so much more enjoyable when someone does it for you!!! Pretty much the "any port in a storm" attitude.

I became bi because my first many years of sexual experiences were same sex. I came to enjoy other cocks, sucking, cum in my mouth...and I discovered girls but never list my desire for cock. Then when the sex in marriage dried up...that fueled my bi/gay desires even more.

For me I think I've always been a bi male. I remember being attracted to the same sex as a teen but never really thought much about it, I never labelled myself in that way. I've had a few sexual encounters with the same sex including sleeping with another man when I was 20. I still didn't label myself as bi and have continued to have relationships with only women. Thoughts of gay sex would often come into my mind, I'd occasionally watch gay porn. I'm now out as bi, it's done wonders for my mental health accepting that part of myself.

Mental health is important…as i always been straight after discovering being attracted to male with certain types evolved into intimate lifestyles I was also going through identity crisis of being bi/gay or become gay fully …as i was developing deep feeling with some of my partners …it took a while, thanks to wife …I try not to put labels. I love my wife , we have occasional sex, we have young family…but I have more bi/gay sex on weekly bases then with my wife …

For me I became bi due to a very kinky girlfriend that talked me into a threesome with another guy. After he and I had shared her, she began coaxing me to touch his cock and to let him touch mine. That first threesome led to my first time sucking another man’s cock, and I was hooked. Scared but hooked.:p

Once you’re hooked you will never go back, you will want more , to a point you will hunt for it …being bi/gay is best part of the exploring both sex …..life is soo good when you can enjoy both sex ….sorry for ppl who don’t see the benefit

I never much thought about having sex with another guy when I was younger, think 60 years ago. We joked about it in the locker room at gym class in high school but that was it.

I was married for 28 years to my first wife and don't remember ever having thoughts about sex with another guy. My current wife and I are coming up on our 25th anniversary. We have always had a good sex life and still enjoy it today. About 10 years ago or there abouts she started playing with my ass while giving me a blow job. Over the course of several months she progressed from rubbing my asshole to putting in a finger to two fingers to a small dildo and finally a real sized dildo. Each increase felt better. I couldn't believe how good it felt. She told me that if I thought a dildo felt good that I should try the real thing. After much discussion I decided I would try it. She was right. A real cock felt much better. When I told her about it she didn't say "I told you so". She just smiled and asked if I had sucked his cock also. I hadn't even thought about that. I tried it and found that I love sucking cock also.

My wife and I have sex about 2 or 3 times a week my friend and I almost as often. I enjoy sucking him and swallowing his load and when he cums in my ass, I enjoy the sex with my wife just a little bit more.

Iam very thankful for having such an understanding wife.

No. I have always been bisexual but I came out as gay/homosexual first as a teen. This is actually very common.

I grew up in a boy's boarding school; from the age of 8 or so until after high school, my sexual experience was exclusively homosexual. I suspect that for most of my classmates, this was situational homosexuality; a behavior which filled an unmet need, rather than a sexual orientation. Once we were no longer cloistered, I suspect that the majority of us switched to heterosexuality, while a fraction of us integrated into the LGBTQ+ community.
Nationally and globally, about 10-11% of the population is LGBTQ, with about half of those Bisexual, and those estimates seem pretty stable across cultures and nationalities. For me, Gay sex wasn't a cheap substitute for the real thing, to be dropped the moment better opportunities came along; from my very first Gay experience I reveled in it, and after years of sexual experience with both men and women, I still do. Nothing "turned me Gay"; this is just me; I've never not been Bisexual.

Was this a boarding school in the Ireland/UK, or in North America? I know a bi man that was at a boarding school in NJ in the 1970s he only had sex with women there but they did events and were very close geographically to a girl’s boarding school. He also went crazy with alcohol and all types of drugs which only hurt him as he has been a poly drug addict since he was a teen.

Like so many things in life, we think we know things that we actually just absorbed as a truism without challenging its veracity..

I commend you for your inquisitiveness..

I also don't believe there's just one pot to piss in here; not because I heard it, but because I was born two years before Eisenhower was first elected President and have both experienced - and witnessed - varied "reasons" - men (and women) both dabble-in/embrace bisexuality.. (whew.. gotta catch my breath.. long-winded sentences are tough on me nowadays)..

There's guys like me who were first 'imprinted' at a young age by homosexual activity.. It wasn't a 'choice' with me.. I was 11 and had never, ever, heard about sex and simply thought boys & girls had different parts for peeing.. My buddy (Jerry, age 14) demonstrated how wrong I was and straightened me out.. after a week or so believing I was going to be damned for this sudden change in my behavior, I just gave in.. I was an 11 year-old having dry orgasms and relieving Jerry of his excess cum 3 or 4 times weekly.. Very soon, I was servicing Jerry's friends at their 'clubhouse' (an old, abandoned two-story home nearby).. I filled my belly pleasuring Jerry's buddies pretty regularly too.. I pretty much entered puberty on my knees.. When one of the guys brought a newly-recruited kid to the clubhouse, he took over my job.. when I hit 14, Jerry was a HS Junior @ 17 and into girls.. my family had moved too far away to continue anyway.. I there was some jerkoff sessions with school buddies, but I was starting to think about girls a lot by then.. Strangely, I was really attracted to them both emotionally and sexually but I felt awkward.. the new dynamic puzzled me.. There was some finger-banging and groping in their parents' homes and behind buildings, but I don't know what would've happened had there been an opportunity and a willing girl.. The point is: I'd entered a hetero phase and guy/guy urges just dissipated.. My HS years were all about what most would've considered 'normal'.. academics, sports, class Prez.. I dated, made out in cars, etc but didn't actually screw a girl until almost 18.. Then, there was suddenly a lot of sex with girls after my 18th birthday when I graduated and was àn LA Co firefighter.. then joined the Army.. I don't recall EVER thinking about sex with guys all during HS and Fire Dept..
but then something just changed and I wanted sex with a guy.. from then until I got married 7 years later I had sex with hundreds of men AND women..I still fantasize about guys, but have kept my zipper zipped and just celebrated 49th anniversary..

I'm sure other guys have their stories.. mostly I think it just 'happens' that you're drawn toward one sex or another..

I definitely know firsthand that there's lots of women over 45 that totally enjoy sex with 20-something year-old guys.. It's not just that old guys can't get laid.. some find the urges they had when young resurface.. some don't want the hassles that MF relationships often impose, so they keep all sex separate from emotional connectivity.

there's just so many paths to bisexuality that to lump them into convenient categories would be missing the many stories that exist..
