Let AI decide what people should be paid?

Here's an idea for AI.

Let AI decide what a person's labor, knowledge and experience is actually worth to a company.

Let AI decide who should get promotions and bonuses. Who should get hired for which jobs, all without bias.

But start with the idea that all people are created equal, with skills and knowledge and experience adding to their value in limited ways. The limits being what is reasonable for a person to earn given their personal needs.

I'm sure some of this is already occuring in large corporations, but with added bias according to whomever has the power to customize the AI, and without limits on executive compensation.

 

This would allow for the complete elimination of race, age and sex bias, because that info would not be entered at all. Sure an interview would follow because personality and communication are important as well as recommendations along with what the AI says.

So you would not need DEI as all would be judged on their merits, without discrimination. And society would be far better off.
