Larry Summers says Trump's accusations of manipulated jobs numbers are ‘preposterous’ excerpt: He added, "The numbers are in line with what we're seeing from all kinds of private sector sources. This is the stuff of democracies giving way to authoritarianism. It — firing statisticians goes with threatening the heads of newspapers. It goes with launching assaults on universities. It goes with launching assaults on law firms that defend clients that the elected boss finds uncongenial. This is really scary stuff."
That means it's time for Trump to threaten and coerce all the private sector sources that disseminate information he doesn't like.

Yes, Donald Trump really believes he is ‘the chosen one’ Analysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large Updated 3:08 PM EDT, Sat August 24, 2019 https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/21/politics/donald-trump-chosen-one excerpt: “The final key to the way I promote is bravado. I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can get very excited by those who do. That is why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest, the greatest and the most spectacular.”
Trump Rips Lara Trump’s ‘Racist’ Guest Charlemagne the God excerpt: Reacting to his victory at the 2016 polls, Trump reflected that “only God could have done this.” He also joked during an August 2019 press conference that “I am the chosen one,” glancing theatrically toward the skies. That comment came around the same time he tweeted quotes from conspiracy theorist Wayne Allyn Root, reflecting on how “the Jewish people in Israel love him like he’s the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God.”
An accurate cartoon. A string of windmills in the background in Scotland. Trump's golf cart overturned. Trump, the knight in shining armor, collapsed on the ground. JD Vance not knowing what to do (other than perhaps putting more mascara on his own eyes and maybe Trump's too).
People should be questioning Trump's fascination with pathological characters who evaded crimes for decades, whether it's the Unabomber or a fictional character like serial killer Hannibal Lecter who murdered and ate a person investigating him. Trump has made various references to Al Capone, implying he's more notorious than Capone because Capone didn't have as many indictments as he does. Trump has praised autocrats, strongarms, and dictators around the world (Kim Jong Un, Duterte, Erdogan, MBS, Orban, Bukele, Bolsonaro, Putin) while mixing up their names and which countries they dictate.
Trump will brag that it's simply his weave. His brilliant way of meandering all over the place and bringing seemingly unrelated things together into a single, coherent, rational, persuasive whole.
The White House doesn't know where Trump came up with his $60 million figure of aid that he claims the U.S. gave to Gaza. Trump also claimed no other country gave any money, which isn't true. ‘He has trouble completing a thought’: bizarre public appearances again cast doubt on Trump’s mental acuity excerpt: "Trump seemed to not realize or remember that other countries have given money to Gaza – the UK announced a £60m ($80m) package in July, and the European Union has allocated €170m ($195m) in aid. And the Guardian could not find any record of the US giving $60m to Gaza two weeks ago. In June, the US state department approved a $30m grant to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a group backed by Israeli and US interests which has been criticized by Democrats as “connected to deadly violence against starving people seeking food in Gaza”. The White House did not respond to questions about Trump’s claimed $60m donation."
In Trump's mind, the story really is factual. He doesn't know the difference between reality and fantasy. George Santos has been in the same mental state. He's now in prison. image:
Even though he won the 2024 election and had all the federal prosecution of him shut down, he's still in a state where he sounds like he could have a serious nervous breakdown any day. What Trump's mental state would be today had he lost the 2024 election and been rendered powerless compared to what he is today is almost beyond imagination.
OK--IF THIS NEXT ONE IS TRUE--WE CAN SEE HOW TRUMP IS BEING PROTECTED BY THE NOW CORRUPTED FBI AND THE "JUSTICE DEPARTMENT." AGAIN , THERE'S IS A COMMERCIAL , BUT I CLICKED IT OFF IMMEDIATELY.
