Husband and I are going to adopt, we always have wanted to give a kid that needs a loving home. Found out one of my boss's customers is a foster mom and I talked to her about a brother and sister whom are 14 and 12 years old she has. Told her get in contact with their social worker. My husband and I want to adopt them and she did. Talked to the social worker starting two weeks ago and seen them again today. Said everything is good so far and sees us as good parents to them. Found out they had bio parents were party animals and drug addicts that were putting them in danger. I have met them before and husband gets to meet them for the first time this weekend. They found out and both happy to meet us hearing they will be in a loving home finally. Our twin son and daughter, they are for it going to accept them in.
It was heartbreaking hearing it, They deserve better and my husband understands it. He was in a home which his bio mom was a drug addict removed from it and adopted by a loving family at age 10. She spent the money for food on drugs. He will be a great help to them knowing they are not alone
good on yall im glad you are going to be a better example of parents then their bio parents were.Its truly lovley to have that opportunity
Found out the brother likes certain music and one is classic rock, going to like me. Since our twins are adults now at 21 years old, we wanted to give back to a couple kids that have had it rough.

It hits my husband hard seeing it, he is a police officer and has seen kids removed from the home due to parents being drug addicts being arrested. Not pretty with the kids crying at times. We are going to show them love and guide them in the right direction in life
We met them yesterday and it went well. The brother thanked me for my service seeing my Marines flag on the outside. Loved it seeing my classic rock collection. Took him for a ride in my 1969 Chevy Nova SS too. The sister, she loved my dreadlocks and said they are cool. She also thanked me for my military service.
