Mort Sahl: America's Conscience | Official Trailer (2025)

I was told by a few who encouraged me to make this documentary (since I not only was a friend of Mort Sahl, but I'm the expert) they would get me some video from 3rd parties (archives are expensive!) but they disappeared.

I did make the documentary, but didn't finish it. I have over 2,200 archives of his and spending my time working with Universities - which is a long waiting game. UCLA told me they would be interested in acquisition -- in 2029!

If there is no interest, I'm not going to spend so much time on the worst parts (narration, editing, composing or re-using finished music of mine to reduce budget).. Even as fans, people never seem to chat. I'll see someone mention Mort and try to strike up a conversation, and 98% of people won't reply, or feel elitist and have you hoping you never contacted them in the first place!

I didn't even upload this on my channel in fear of copyright strikes.
