A long time ago I had a neighbour from France who never shaved her armpits. I thought it was pretty gross at the time, but then I had dated someone who had that soft, blond peach fuzz on her arms and legs, even around her belly and I thought it was attractive and sexy. Recently, however, I've been reading various blogs where women are posting pictures of themselves that do not or simply refuse to shave. In some cases not only their armpits but legs as well. I have to admit, I kind of thought they were hot. Do you?

My spouse commented that we men have it easy. I asked why. She said it is acceptable that we have body hair. We don't have to shave, legs, pits, etc. I said that there are a lot of women who don't shave either. They enjoy their Bohemian look being free and uninhibited. Much like the 60's and the hippie movement. (Note: I was and still am one.) She just looked at me with doubt until I discretely pointed out a young woman in a long one piece sleeveless flowing dress wearing sandals. You could tell she was braless, unshaven, and rather sexy.

Prefer a gal with zero hair which grows below her eyes. Other than from her head.

Back in the day, I remember the record store clerk commenting on Patti Smith's Easter LP cover upon purchase. She told me, "she'd be so much prettier if she shaved her armpits." In my ignorance, I hadn't even noticed.
One of my ex-girlfriend's absolutely detested her body hair. She even shaved her arms. It was the only time I had given oral to a woman with a bald beaver. In retrospect, one advantage I enjoyed was not getting any pubic hairs stuck in my mouth.
Recently I viewed Taylor Sheridan's 1883 and 1923. All the women were depicted with hairy armpits and/or unshaven legs, supposedly accurate for the time periods. Were men turned off back then? I rather enjoyed viewing it.
Actress Sophie Aldred has told a story when filming her 1st Doctor Who episode (1987) that when she had raised her arms during a scene, it was noticed she had hairy armpits and had to get them shaved. "British TV wasn't ready for it," she said .

Shit, hairy women used to be all the rage in the 60s and 70s and ate more than my fair share of hairy - and very hairy - pussies.

Yes, I remember those days. I remember one lady at the beach with big patch of pubic hair showing between her legs and others with a fair amount. In my early teens I thought that was exciting.
