There are so many posts on here asking guys about getting noticeable boners and whether it's embarrassing and/or how they deal with it. I thought it'd be interesting to ask the opposite and also widen it out to include all genders. Curious who thinks it's awkward when you're nude with a non-sexual partner (or at the very least they are nude in front of you) gets physically aroused, such as an erect penis or their vulva opens up and clit swells out enough to be visible, and who could give two shits? Myself, I fall into the second camp. I don't care and I don't think there's any reason to care. I think the big hang up is the misconception that an erection or (what I call) "girl boners" indicates a conscious horniness or sexual arousal over the person you're nude with. It can be little more than a purely physical reaction. I really enjoy seeing other people get aroused because it's one of the best examples of a body just doing its thing. Embracing that fact is to embrace one of the core attributes of "being human." And it's a great entre to really lovely or funny or educational conversations you might have never had with that person otherwise.
I grew up in a rural white community, so gym showers I saw nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing impressive I had heard a few stories, never paid much mind or gave it much thought. I also love letting myself get erect if it happens and not thinking twice about it.
