    Truth can be understood through logic and reasoning, but personal bias and external conditioning here can lead to cognitive bias and prevent one from perceiving the truth, and even embracing falsehood that can result in major errors in judgement leading to failure.

    As per eastern philosophy, the state of awareness or mindfulness enables one to perceive the situation without the influence of prejudiced filters or pre-conceived notions, that enables one to arrive at the truth of the situation. So consequently, the state of awareness is considered synonymous with truth or wisdom in eastern philosophy and not a mere intellectual perception or conclusion.
