ah well, thank you.. though I don't like this women's day, coz to me, it´s a comunnist's day... fuckin' anyways, happy ... the day!
http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_world/view/136226/1/.html The vote for woman will happen in the next election, trust me.
pfft one day, damn dont we feel special I think we should get more than a day, but I guess ya take what you can get
Well, women's day is all about women's rights, and these days women pretty much have equal rights, plus a special respect they get just for being women.
Well, not in the world, but in North America I believe women have pretty equal rights. I know many women who have careers that are generally considered "men's fields" and all of them claim that there was no discrimination of any sort when they were selected for their jobs. And so far, most women I met who complained about equal rights didn't actually try and check if they had equal rights.
durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I AM just a women you dumbass... Dont say that I dont respect women cause wtf again I am a woman.. You only read womens books so you can trap them...
Dont get me wrong I totally understand what you are saying.. But women are not respected and treated equal everywhere...
Not everywhere, yes. But when I was making my comment I was referring to the state of the society I live in, not the world. Of course, the world is far from perfect. Some societies are still stuck in the stone age, and that is why I think that there is a point to the IWD and why I made this thread. Well, that and the fact that the IWD celebrates the accomplishments of the feminist movement. Having equal rights in North America is a big accomplishment!
