Yeah, now that you mention that, I gotta get this off my chest. I’m starting to notice similar things to that. Like news reporters not pronouncing words correctly- the word “written” for example, not pronouncing with the “T” , and saying “wri - en”, instead. How do you miss the “T”, there’s 2 of them and they totally skip over both of them shits!!

That was on my list, however it seemed more of 'dialect' issue than just a murdering the English language.

I think some of these folks are being lazy. They went to school just like everyone else and heard how these words are pronounced. Then again, now that I think about it, it could be that they had teachers who heard them pronounce these words wrong and didn’t take the time to correct them. Sad.

In certain areas of England , people pronounce words without the Ts------par--ee for party, Har--ee for hearty, smar-ee for smarty for example. Some people here in the states have carried those on.

Safety shields, covers, enclosures, and guards that get in the way.
I was just working on my snow blower and had to remove a heat shield on the muffler, a plastic cover over the air intake, and a panel from the front just to find the carburetor...and I needed two different sockets and two different wrenches to do it.

The other day I had to clean the spark plug on my chainsaw, after I found it buried underneath some stupid plastic cover that had those dumb star bolts holding it on so I couldn't use a standard screwdriver.

The way it used to be, everything right there and handy.

To shut it down just press that piece of metal against the plug.

Yes, everything is built with liability in mind. It's like on the drug commercials..."don't take this outrageously priced Rx if you are allergic to it". No shit.

Pockets inside of pockets- annoying as hell! I’ll forget about these damn pockets as I’m putting stuff in there, thinking that I’m putting things in one pocket, and at the end of the day when I take my damn pants off, sometimes I can’t find shit!

People who get a $79 daily stipend for meals just cut off food assistance averaging just $6.20 a day to the 41.7 million Americans who rely upon SNAP benefits to put food on the table, which the Republican regime has refused to fund beyond tomorrow, despite a $6 billion USDA contingency reserve fund set up to fund the program under precisely these circumstances (and despite passing a record $2.32 TRILLION military budget, giving the ultra-rich $117 billion in annual tax breaks, and sending $40 billion to shore up the Fascist regime in Argentina).

What would you rather spend $5.0 billion dollars on?:
    1. 2 more B-2 bombers, or:
    2. Prevent 41.7 million people from potential starvation.

(Factor in that 41.7 million people that are hungry won't be paying income tax to help pay for the B-2 bombers)

I guess many have been around since the cold war....

Not only won't the 41.7 million SNAP people not pay tax....neither will all the migrants he's tossing out...they don't all work for cash..

    Hiccups.
Having hiccups drives me completely foolish, I lose focus on whatever I'm doing. They don't ever seem to go away on their own for me and require a remedy. The longer I have them, the more irritated I become.
I'm not big on hearing other people's hiccups either.
    I probably sound crazy.

Agreed. I get unnecessary stress just waiting for or timing the picking up of my Amazon packages right. Because of porch pirates.

AI videos on YouTube, TikTok, etc., are starting to become “very” annoying! I’ll click on something that looks interesting, entertaining, hilarious and then I’m turned off when I see slight imperfections such as abnormal body movements, over exaggeration, enhanced imagery, etc. It’s all bullshit and extremely annoying!!

Those rat bastards. A lot of those are inside jobs, too....they always seem to know when a tablet, laptop or phone is getting delivered.

Anything of value I have amazon garage delivery...they open the door, two cameras are on them, they close it...Wifi on the opener. I guess I trust that more than leaving it on the doorstep.
