We didn't firmly establish anything. The future is never sure. However science (and please remember I am talking about the consensus of credible climatologists, and those who study climate dynamics, paleoclimatology, climate modeling, etc.) have determined that the probability of human extinction due to the rise of global warming due to human influenced climate change is very low.

I don't know what you are talking about as far as burning fossil fuels to stop an ice age which may or may not arrive in the next 50,000 to 100,00 years.

Also pretty selfish to not think about the 14.5 million people who may be affected or die by 2050 caused by something we can address right now.
Best to start preparing now for 2050.

Have you noticed there are hardly any insects? The only birds we see here are crows and vultures, except for a pair of cardinals who are still here. The bats are nearly gone. I see no ants at all. Few flies. No honeybees.
The sky was once blue here in the summer. Now it's white all the time, rains too much, and it is very difficult to grow most crops.
Glad that's so amusing. Read up on great extinction events... such as the end-Permian, the end-Triassic. What fun! Party!

No, I have not noticed any of those things whatsoever. Where I live, the sky is certainly blue, there are bugs, certainly a lot of bats, bees, flies.

The reason I’m laughing is because you’re talking about extinction while others are denying it.

If we turned off Fossil Fuels entirely TODAY, how many people would die TODAY?? Best to prepare for today.

He's talking about birds, bats, ants, flies, and honeybees. Not humans.

Please tell me who in this thread has ever stated that extinction of certain species has never occurred.

Who has ever proposed that we immediately, right now, stop using all fossil fuels?

Why would humans be exempt from a mass extinction event?

So are you saying 2050 is “the date” by which to end all use of fossil fuels? Do it by then or else what? Fill in the blank. What happens if we don’t do it by then?

Like, I don’t even mean to be combative, but it’s 2025 and grown adults are still acting like “Climate Change” is a real thing lol smh.

Like, didn’t you guys eventually realize that the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus aren’t real? Or are they also real? lol…

We were talking about the human species becoming extinct, not mass extinctions.
Humans have been around for a million or two years.
In that time thousands if not millions of species have become extinct, but humans survived.

Nope, never said that 2050 is the date by which we have to stop using fossil fuels.
What I did was post a link to a site about the World Economic Forum's report that projects that there is a possibility that by 2050 climate change may cause 14.5 million deaths worldwide. Could be more could be less. Could be that nothing will happen.
What they are doing is looking at the present data, past data, and future possibilities and then analyzing the possible effects on humans by the date 2050.

It says nothing about fossil fuels.
There is mention of what may happen by 2050 if we don't address climate change by then, but it never mentions fossil fuels.
Maybe somebody somewhere will still be driving his or her 1978 Camero on gasoline in 2050.
    Will that matter?

All it does is recommend that, "we need sustained action if we are to mitigate the far-reaching consequences of climate change and ensure a healthy future for all.”

So now you are saying that the climate does not change.

Well usually about the moment I have to just troll such as my last post it’s probably time for me to depart again.

But I will leave you all with this:

It actually makes sense that I assume that I’m wrong and that you’re right.

If I’m right and you’re wrong, then we will be fine til at least the Ice Age.

If I’m wrong and you’re right, then Miami should be under water within 100 years tops I would guesstimate.

And last thing, I’m kind of salty right now about Dean Radin stealing my idea, so I will at least share this with you:

He’s apparently talking with the DOE about
Psi-LENR and “he’s not at liberty to give me further details”. Since I’ve been egging him on about this since 2018 at the latest, I’m kinda pissed that he told me it’s not feasible over and over and now suddenly a few days ago tells me he’s talking with the DOE about it and I will likely not get any credit. I’m not gonna elaborate beyond that.
