    https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/14/politics/trump-affordability-rebate-checks-snap-economy-analysis

    excerpt:

"Evidence is mounting that Trump’s policies are making the affordability crisis worse. His tariffs are raising the price of goods for Americans. He’s had to promise a massive bailout to farmers hammered by his trade war policies. His new brainwave is for $2,000 payments to Americans pulled from government coffers swelled by tariffs. This sounds like a nice idea. But it could backfire by spiking inflation — and it is hardly a long-term answer for millions of Americans juggling bills and cutting back on the basics, who are now also confronting fears that AI will take their jobs."

The main reason for high coffee prices in the U.S. is Trump slapping an extra 50% tariff on Brazil because it wouldn't stop the trial that eventually found Bolsonaro (Tropical Trump) guilty of trying to overthrow the presidential election he had lost (the same as Trump, except Trump was never held accountable for it).

    https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/13/politics/donald-trump-epstein-political-danger

    excerpt:

"This is merely the latest baffling episode in the administration’s handling of the Epstein files. Among the others:

The administration’s suspiciously timed, sudden reversal on releasing the files.

Trump’s belated disclosure of his knowledge of Maxwell’s Mar-a-Lago recruitment.

Trump’s weird denial of authoring a lewd letter for Epstein’s 50th birthday album.

His other false claims about Epstein-related matters.

The administration’s dubious decision to grant an interview with Maxwell, which seemed geared more toward helping Trump than anything else. (Sure enough, the newly released emails undercut Maxwell’s claims about Trump in that interview.)

The transfer of Maxwell to a minimum-security prison camp that she didn’t appear eligible for without a waiver. The administration still hasn’t explained how this happened, months later. And CNN’s MJ Lee reported Thursday that Maxwell is getting special treatment there."

That's what Congress needed during Trump's Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol.

It took hours for the National Guard to show up because Trump was deliberately derelict and did nothing to stop his riot.

Congress debated the establishment of a 'quick reaction force' to protect itself from Trump and people like him in the future.

    Ultimately, Congress didn't pursue it.

In December 2022 Congress revised the Electoral Count Act of 1887 to make it more difficult for Trump and people like him to abuse it like he did on Jan. 6.

Trump has shown no evidence that the immigrants that he is deporting are the 'worst of the worst' criminals.

Trump has been pardoning the 'worst of the worst' criminals. They aren't immigrants, and they continue to commit crimes.

Trump blows up vessel in the eastern Pacific.

Trump has targeted at least 17 maritime vessels during his second term.

US kills two more people in latest strike on vessel in the Pacific

    excerpt:

"The United States has killed two people in another strike on a vessel in the Pacific, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said, bringing to at least 67 the number of people killed in US attacks on boats in the Caribbean and Pacific since early September.

In a post on social media late on Tuesday, Hegseth alleged that the latest vessel attacked was involved in “illicit narcotics smuggling”, though legal experts have said that such attacks amount to extrajudicial killings, even if those targeted are suspected of drug trafficking."

Trump reportedly will be doing rallies in 2026 to support midterm candidates and try to stop his dwindling approval rating.

He can be expected to daydream out loud for an hour and 45 minutes.

He can also tell his followers how he worked so hard to cut off their food benefits during the government shutdown, even asking the U.S. Supreme Court for help in cutting them off.

    Along with his usual soundbites.

    How's your 401(k) doing?!

How about that 2025 Walmart Thanksgiving dinner that was 25% less?

Trump's immigration raids start in Charlotte, NC, a city with a Democratic mayor.

Trump has previously raided DC, Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, and New York City.

Federal immigration officers begin sweep in Charlotte, North Carolina

    excerpt:

"Federal immigration officers on Saturday began a sweep through Charlotte, the largest city in North Carolina, federal officials confirmed.

Local media reports said that among the locations targeted by masked federal agents was a church in east Charlotte, where an arrest was made while about 15 to 20 church members were doing yard work on the property.

The pastor at the church, who did not want to identify himself or his church, told the Charlotte Observer that agents reportedly asked no questions and showed no identification before taking the man away. The man’s wife and child were inside the church at the time, said the pastor."
