Yep, a scam is likely. I once went to an office in Las Vegas to meet with someone to pick up a piece of computer hardware he didn't need. When I arrived at the office, first thing I noticed was a photo studio set up with a beautiful female model posing for the shot. Behind this area were cubicles, each containing one usually fat, unattractive local woman smoking cigarettes. They were all chatting on phones, and I then realized this was a 900 number callroom for sex. It was one of the first, when 900 numbers were starting. The women were pretending to be the models whose pics appeared in their ads. There was no internet yet! That company no doubt grew huge, because Vegas is still the phone sex capital apparently.
I posed nude for my spouses college art project. It was a portfolio of nudes for her photography class. Following this her bestie asked if she could use me for her project. Basically the same except her class was mandatory for art students while my spouses was an elective. I posed for her in a bunch of settings. Realistically it was a pain in the ass. Not erotic at all. But when she submitted her project the art department selected one of the photos, framed it, and hung it in the departments gallery. There I was in full display. A few months later bestie called on the phone all bubbly. She had to come by and see us immediately. What she wanted was permission to sell the photo. The offer was 200 USD if I remember. I agreed and the pic was sold and probably hung in somebody's home somewhere out there. It may still be, given to someone else, sold again, or tossed in the trash. I don't know. But I did get a kick out of it all. Even after the pain in the ass was over. It was literally a pain as sitting nude on a fallen tree trunk hurts the ass. If acting for porn is anything like this, no thanks.
I did very similar, years ago now. I saw an advert wanting nude models, so I applied, it was a joint application with a female friend. We did get a reply, and were invited to a photoshoot in a small studio, fairly amateur setup but still good. We were interviewed together, we said we were nudists and we stripped nude and posed for them at interview, soon we were posing in the studio, not knowing what they would with the photos. It wasn't long before someone interrupted and asked if we would pose sexually. Sure, we did straight away, it was fun posing. Another interruption, had we ever considered filming porn? Sure, we'd love to. There was a long wait but eventually we were interviewed together again. We were both very open-minded to being filmed and what we'd do. Next we knew we were individually doing those typical casting couch interviews, I let everything happen and did what I was asked to. Not long later I did my first ever porn scene with them. Many years later, albeit fairly infrequently over the years, I still do porn and am still in touch with that company where I started, a family company that has been handed down to the next generation.
My wife knew a guy that kept te pushing her to do porn. She was definitely interested because she kept talking about it..Then one day out of the blue she felt daring enough to go do a sit down.. She said it was very awkward the whole time one of the guys kept wanting to see her naked. Thats about what I got from her about it.
They do a lot of recruiting of dancers. I connected with AVN agencies years ago. Best move I did for that. I did a few shoots for a few different agencies AVN recommend. I would only recommend the AVN agencies I work with.
