Mike Lindell files to run for governor of MN.

    https://www.cnn.com/2025/12/03/politics/mike-lindell-minnesota-governor

    excerpt:

Earlier this year, a federal jury found Lindell liable for defaming a former Dominion executive, and ordered Lindell to pay about $2.3 million in damages. Despite these legal troubles, Lindell still regularly promotes false conspiracy theories about the 2020 results on his social media platforms.

Some Democrats instantly slammed Lindell’s potential candidacy.

“Mike Lindell is the latest extreme, out of touch candidate to jump into what is becoming a more chaotic and dangerous race to the far-right by the day,” Izzi Levy, a spokesperson for the Democratic Governors Association, said in a statement that further accused Lindell of being a “sleazy businessman.”

As bad as Trump and others may think drug traffickers are, they haven't made a good case for classifying them as terrorists.

Terrorism | Definition, History, Examples, Groups, & Facts | Britannica

    excerpt:

"In order to attract and maintain the publicity necessary to generate widespread fear, terrorists must engage in increasingly dramatic, violent, and high-profile attacks. These have included hijackings, hostage takings, kidnappings, mass shootings, car bombings, and, frequently, suicide bombings."

Those attributes are consistent with Trump's insurrection at the Capitol. He radicalized his followers to threaten Congress and police with violence and threats of violence to try to change the view of Americans and government officials to steal the 2020 election for him.

Trump is a textbook example of radicalizing people and implementing domestic terrorism. He has shown that it can be done within a couple months.

Americans in the past have been known to be stupified by how quickly foreigners can be radicalized in a foreign country and commit terror acts in the U.S.

Charasmatic people like Trump seem to have an advantage in being able to radicalize people for destructive behavior.

Some of the pubic latches on to such people and make them their leader to a cult-like extent that is pathological.

    https://thehill.com/homenews/media/5631560-raskin-demands-cbs-trump-60-minutes-interview-clarity/

    excerpt:

“President Trump increasingly appears to be exercising direct control over CBS’s editorial decisions, destroying CBS’s ‘journalistic integrity’ while violating its right to be free from governmental coercion and manipulation,” Raskin wrote.

The Democrat took specific issue with the network’s decision not to include a portion of Trump’s comments to journalist Norah O’Donnell in which he bragged about a $16 million settlement Paramount paid his presidential foundation earlier this year.

The settlement was made to quell a lawsuit Trump brought against the company over its editing of a similar interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the 2024 election.

It's one of the attributes of a dictator. Consolidate power, including what was once a free media.

Terrorism | Definition, History, Examples, Groups, & Facts | Britannica

    excerpt:

Terrorism proper is thus the calculated use of violence to generate fear, and thereby to achieve political goals, when direct military victory is not possible. This has led some social scientists to refer to guerrilla warfare as the “weapon of the weak” and terrorism as the “weapon of the weakest.”

    (B) appear to be intended—

    Trump's arguably guilty of A, B(i), and B(ii).

Some of Trump's rioters went as far as B(iii): threatening to kidnap and hang VP Pence, Pelosi, and others.

Trump is guilty of B(iii) for deliberately not making any meaningful attempt to stop it when he had the most power of anyone to stop it (in addition to the fact that he started the violence in the first place).

Pete Hegseth says he didn't see survivors in the September boat strike because of 'the fog of war'

    excerpt:

"He watched the first strike live before moving on to other meetings, he said, and did not personally see any survivors. Nor did Hegseth witness the second strike, he said, claiming he learned about it later. Still, he said he supported the decision to strike the boat and described a rigorous and deliberative process to identify what the U.S. says are drug-carrying vessels.

“Adm. Bradley made the correct decision to ultimately sink the boat and eliminate the threat,” Hegseth said. “We have his back.”

Asked about the precise timing of the second strike, Hegseth demurred."

Hegseth, Bondi, Patel and that creature Noem are going to start falling like dominoes pretty soon.

Trump needs to just get in a casket already.

The lawsuit intros by Trump's lawyers sound like political manifestos.

Trump's attorneys submitted one of their lawsuits to a court and the judge threw it out because he said it read like a manifesto and went far over the word limit.

Student describes ‘horror show’ ICE deportation to Honduras at Thanksgiving

    excerpt:

Her lightning-fast deportation – less than 48 hours after she was arrested at the airport – has drawn global attention as one of the starkest examples of alleged abuses under Trump’s mass deportation policy.

“Her case is an unconstitutional horror show,” said her lawyer, the Boston-based Todd Pomerleau, who has represented other high-profile ICE detention cases, including that of the mother of the White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s nephew.
