As I understand it, Catholics do not believe in any form of birth control. Of course A previous Pope Said you should not lust after your wife. What’s the point? Someplace in the Bible, it says that it is better to get married, than to burn in lust. A double entendre? And of course, there is the old Testament story where God told a man to impregnate his wife. He thought better of it and pulled out and “ Spilled his seed on the ground”. God killed him. WTF? Was she that bad?

You're thinking of the story of Onan. In the book of Genesis Onan's brother died. By law Onan was supposed to take his brother's widow Tamar as his wife and fuck her to continue his brothers legacy. The legacy was through having children. But Onan didn't want to have children with Tamar. So he pulled out as shot his load elsewhere or spilled his seed on the ground. God got pissed at Onan breaking Levite law and kills him. Now I don't think Tamar was that bad looking of a woman or a fuck. But sibling rivalry, not wanting offspring being accounted as the brothers and not your own, may have played a part.

Ok, It sounds like a book of old wives tales…

Although Onan didn’t want to have offspring with his sister in-law Tamar - he didn’t refuse the offer - he still went ahead and boned her first.., but pulled out, so he wasn’t stupid. He just needed to have fewer party goers watching the act.
(The shit that happens at a good Irish wake)

I also read, If I am not mistaken - that in the act of “Spilling the seed on the ground” - 1st cousin Allysse’s Kleenex got an idea for a break through product for the new world. His descendants are worth a fortune to this day.

Had the new product been available at the time… well.., the whole “wrath” thing could have been avoided in this instance. Onan and Tamar could have been happily swinging ever after.

Sorry, I’m getting off topic here.
