perhaps naming an ipod is sort of extreme...but there is nothing wrong with naming your guitar

There's an mp3/wma file player thingamabob like the ipod... it's called the Creative Nomad... they make a 40GB model for $270.

The catch is it's a lesser known brand and it only works with PC.

I hate them, I hate them, I hate them {laughs}. I just can't dig th' ipod thing. I guess I'm old like people stuck to vinyl, I have to have the CD & I need that album cover as well as the music {laughs} .

My iPod recently corrupted. I thought I was going to have to send it in to have it repaired, because my iBook wouldn't recognize it, but iTunes ended up recognizing "a corrupted iPod." So I had to restore it, and I lost everything that was on it... which is a total pain in the ass because I didn't have a good chunk of it backed up. Luckilly all of my rare psych and garage shit is on my boss' computer.

Damn... all of these little "i"s are screwing with my iMind.

 

And all of that is why I've yet to, and don't own an mp3 player. I use whatever medium applies to being able to listen to music in vehicles.

Yeah, I realize I can hook up your ipod to the stereo and all of that BS, but I'd rather not have an accident and it seems like a pointless waste to me, unless you just get the cheapest mp3 player you can find-- since you're going to have to replace them and Apple had some stupid marketing ploy at the beginning where you had to buy a new one because replacing the battery cost too much... now you have to pay 99 or whatever for a battery replacement.

Ridiculous.
