I’m so old I remember where you lived in a community, everybody knew each other, now there doesn’t seem to be a community and there’s no socialisation.

I remember when 15 cents could take you from one end of NYC to the other. Or you could hit every station for that same 15 cents!

 

I'm so old I remember ...matching avocado green appliances in the kitchen with citrus orange swivel chairs, fake marble formica counter tops and fake wood formica cabinets. And doilies everywhere!

 

Oh man, @Toker - I remember jumping those turnstiles and riding all around NYC for free! I remember all the funny messages I would get on my beeper and running to a payphone to call someone back. For some reason, people were always beeping me 80085 - lol.

 

I can't tell if you are joking or really didn't know that 80085 was supposed to mean BOOBS.
