So difficult to loose. I've been dieting 4 weeks now, replacing 2 meals a day with protein shakes, and just nibbling for the last meal, frequently just a hard boiled egg. I desperately want to reach 140 lbs and I'm just 5 lbs away., Anybody have any suggestions? I still look pretty good I think but I want the 240 lbs white.png

    There is no easy way.

It's simple, calories out need to exceed calories in, or calories burnt.
Don't skimp on water, that leads to dehydration. In fact more water fills the stomach and water is easy to expel.

well thank you boys for the lovely compliments. I think that at 140 lbs I'll be able to wear a 12 dress size instead of the 14 I wear now. Thats really my goal.

The human body has an ideal correct metabolic weight, so that all the organs work correctly together.
Unless it is malfunctioning, it is best to stick with it. Overeating, particularly unhealthy food can cause the malfunction in some people. In reality it is a mild form of diabetes. Water retention can be another problem, it mostly shows up around the ankles. Drinking too little actually makes things worse.

Do you have size 12 garments in your closet to help motivate you?

You look fine. Talk to your doctor. Quitting or abstaining from all sugar helped me lose weight, as did eating only fish and poultry, no red meat. Good luck.

I do not drink by choice as I don’t like it. Friends that do or did said quitting alcohol made them lose weight.
