if ya got mulch or wood chips on the ground, they are probly a wood loveing fungus wich are verry commin in gardens.they wont hurt annything and are probly benifishal to the garden.they will add lots of organic material to the space.unless the fungus appers on leaves or stems i would just leave them there.i get those in my garden allso havent had a problom with them.

yeah theyre fine unless you have animals or small children around that will eat them coz theyre usually really poisonous in australia and hell i know i tried to eat them when i was little before my mum screamed and smacked me... maybe i just still have an odd habit of eating everything i find growing in a garden. does anyone else just eat like leaves and leaves of basil? it tastes so good.
