do you think they will have some sort of competition or bttle of the bands kind of audition thingy for new/unsigned bands to play at beautiful days... wouldn't mind goin in for it if they have.. be a nice way to get a free ticket...
yes, i've already inquired a bout it and they said keep an eye on the Beautiful Days messageboard!! should be appearing in the next few weeks...
They did last year, through the Virtual Festivals competition. Hopefully they do something simillar this year....
oh my! looks at though there might be an all out battle for this spot then...imagine if we all got a slot-all the hipforumers! i think my new band jacob's pillow will most definately be going in for this, we are touring all summer... perhaps even sharing a festival than none other than van morrison...oh yeah baby, bring it on! andy, you don't need to support us, you could play with us! now theres an idea...i wonder....hmmm.... if one of us from the forums wins do you think we could all do a song together with all our respective bands?! what ya think, madness surely....but if we all agree i just might go topless again or i could take bribes not to go topless too! i'll tell you what.. we enter as two different bands.. 1 band is your band with triagle accompaniment from me.. the second is your band backing my songs.. then whoever wins we all get to play yay sounds like a plan, stan, get in the van, said the man, and pass me that flan, the one in the pan, and open that can, and i ran, out of rhyming words... ciao andy xxx
i'm in a new band that is started up it's mostly for fun but i played a few gigs and it is well cool we played at a battle of the bands but we didn't win, lol!
