    Hey guys,

Im looking for a diagnostic tool or something that will tell me what kind of motherboard I have. Im looking for its drivers, so this bloody integrated soundcard will work. If you guys know, please tell!

    Peace
    theo

    Also,

I just got this computer, and before it was activated I shut it off, and this dialog box that read "now closing" popped up. Funny thing is, the program was called "not supposed to see this" WIERD. Any ideas?

If you need to use the integrated sound card, all you need to do is boot-up and hit Delete while your computer's counting up the memory; from there you should be able to find "Integrated Peripherals" or something of that nature...go under that menu, find "Intergrated Audio/Sound" and change from Disabled to Enabled; then it should be Window's default audio out.

re. "should not see me" task,

"This task is normal. It is a part of the installer program. It's supposed to do its magic almost instantly and you shouldn't see the window. this is why the witty programmer named it so. If the window was named "Installer cleanup process" then you wouldn't be scared at all although if I was an evil hacker then that would be exactly what I would name my trojan."
