Ganja! what a funny word

 

ganja? you've really never heard that?

 

I prefer the older terms, Gage, Tea, Grass, etc.. Also, Ganja, of course. It's part of one of my favorite Mantras: "Om Shiva Shankara Hare Hare Ganja" (Oh Lord Shiva, Please Grant me Wisdom and Bless my Ganja Medicine).


As for joints, I was raised by older siblings constantly explaining them off as "Egyptian Ciggarettes", so I think that's by far my favorite personal term.

Egyptian Ciggarettes! thats great. I wonder if theres some historical significance to calling it that? Did the great Egyptians love to smoke the magic green? Maybe thats how they came up with the design for the Pyramids.

 

Haha!! Me and my friends started calling weed johnny in like 10th grade. It was our codeword so that we could use it when talking around people we didnt want to know we were smoking (parents, dumb kids at school). For example, We should hang out with johnny tonight.

So we call it Johnny, Chron, Weed, Bud, whatever man, as long as we gettin blazed!!

 

yeah, i usually just call it pot, but sometimes me and my friend allison refer to it as kif, pakalolo, or just 420.

It means really shitty dope here too, but I use it for all weed because I like how it sounds.

 

i just have a habbit of calling it pot mostly, but sometimes i might catch myself calling it grass, or reefer...i do actually happen to like calling it reefer...

but not to long ago i was at a party and i just started saying that i was completley toasted?!?...so me and a couple friends have been calling it toasters, but its more of an inside joke
but i do like calling it reefer!

 

I think that 'code' language is something that's developed amongst stoners. It's funny how you can use just about anything to supplant the word weed and most others who smoke will know what you're talking about.
