What age did you have your first child?? Did people ever question your decision to have children at an young age?? Are the fathers active in your child's life? Did you finish your education, when you got pregnant? How many kids do you have now and do you plan on having more?

~I got pregnant with my daughter when I was 22, had her when I was 23.

~Nobody questioned my decision....probably because 23 isn't considered "that young" and I was married.

~Her father, although we are now divorced and both remarried, is sorta active in her life. He is in Afghanastan right now, so he hasn't seen her for awhile, but when he is in the states, he sees her every other weekend. She doesn't care to see him much though, which makes things hard.....she would rather stay here with her "other" family.......but that's a whole other topic!!!!

~I did finish my education. We separated when I was about 5 months pregnant. After she was born, I worked full time and went to school full time until I got my Bachelors degree in Social Work. It was very hard and I felt like I didn't get to see her for the first 3 years of her life. :(

~I now have my daughter, who just turned 6, a 5-year-old step-daughter, and I'm currently eight months pregnant. This is going to be my last.....

    I was 16.

Her father was involved until the past few years, but we live in different countries. She's 22 now.

    Everybody questioned it.

I finished high school 4 years ago, and graduated college last year.

I have seven, and my tubes are tied.

I had my first child when I was 17.

No one ever questioned my decision...I did not make a decision to become a parent but I stepped up to take care of what had happened. No one ever had anything negitive to say besides the father (whole diff. story), for the most part everyone was excited and supportive.

The father of my childern is not active in their lives. He will be signing away his rights shortly or paying me child support since I can't get the assitance I need without his help. He has told me before he will not support them and will sign away his rights rather than help me. He doesn't bother with them ever. I'm much happier with it all this way, he turned into no one I wanted to influence them. Everything always goes the way it is meant. They have good men in their lives willing to be there for them and to show them how to be a man. My boyfriend is great to them and their god-father is great to them too.

I finished my education pregnant and with a child under one. I was very proud of myself for doing it. I am looking into college now.

I have two little boys. I plan on many more. I need at least one girl. :) Not anytime soon though. I want my boys to have some time to grow up a little so they will not be too dependant on me when I have a newborn (ex: able to get their own cup out of the fridge, able to sit on the toilet with out my help, able to feed themselves better... two diaper wear-ers a day is enough! lol)

I was preg at 19 at had my sweet angel at 20. No one questioned me being a parent at 20-it's not all THAT young-but, funny now at 26 I get funny looks having two young children. I look much younger than I am though. This girl in my chem class thought I was her age (19)!!

Maddie's father really has nothing to do with her. He lives in Pennsylvania and I'm in South Carolina. He visits her maybe once a month and she goes up there for a few weeks in the summer. But, she is so in love with her step-father. She told her father once that she wants him to be her step dad and Tim to be her daddy! He really is a horrible person and I don't blame her for not wanting to be around him.

Tim (Virginia's father) on the other hand, is awesome. He stays home with her during the day while I go to school and work. He accepted Maddie as his daughter with no hesitation.

And, yes, I want to have many more babies!! But, will prolly only have one more. I'm really wanting to have a little boy. I babysat for a girl that I work with last friday and she has the cutest little boy ever! He is @ 17months old, blond curls, and big blue eyes. He fell asleep snuggled up on my chest and my biological clock exploded! I want to be preg. again sooooo bad, but I am patiently waiting until the end of this year.

    I was 18.
    Everyone questioned.
Father is not around but he doesn't seem to miss it much.
    Yes, I finished my schooling.
I have four. I always saw myself with 7 but that remains to be seen.

Don't have children myself, but shall answer with regards my own mother.

What age did you have your first child??
    Two months shy of 25
Did people ever question your decision to have children at an young age??
Apparently not, by then Mum and Dad had been married for years, settled in a nice house etc. So it was fine.
Are the fathers active in your child's life?
Oh yes, Mum and Dad are still married [25 years and counting]. He's always been hands on and we're pretty close.
Did you finish your education, when you got pregnant?
Well yes Mum had gone to college, to do secretarial work. Then after years as a stay at home Mum she went back to college, twice in fact; once to do A levels, then again to be a holistic theraphist.
You only finish your education the day you die.
How many kids do you have now?
Two, my brother and I (he's 3 years younger)
Do you plan on having more?
No way, that shall be it forever.

I personally will wait at least another five years. Probably could cope emotionally with a child, but circumstances make it impossible (1st year of uni, clocking up debt, no boyfriend etc)

What age did you have your first child?? I was 21 years old when I gave birth to our first son, and my husband was 25 years old.

Did people ever question your decision to have children at an young age?? Not really, as the vast majority of both my husband's and my family had their children at an early age. It was more the people outside of the family that questioned us starting a family "so early". But we knew what we wanted, and what we wanted was to have our children in our early years. ;)

Is the father active in your child(ren)'s life? Yes, and he's a wonderful father and husband! I've been with him for 9 years. We have a 5 year old boy, and 22 month old boy and girl twins.

Did you finish your education, when you got pregnant? I was working in a family physicians' office at the time I became pregnant with our first son, and at 7.5 months pregnant, I left work and have been a stay-at-home mother ever since. As far as finishing my education goes, I crave knowledge, so I'll never stop learning!

How many kids do you have now? I have three children. A 5 year old boy, and 22 month old boy and girl twins.

Do you plan on having more I would love to, but due to the severe complications I experienced during my pregnancy with my twins which nearly took the life of my babies and myself, I have been advised not to bear anymore children, as it could prove fatal. :( So no more babies for us.

    Peace.

I was turning 36 when I had my daughter and a 370 days later had my son.

    They were both planned.

My education was finished years before.

Their father is very active in their lives.

I will not be having more as I am no longer able to have children. I did wish to have 5 orginally but medically was not able to.

I am very happy though that I did manage to have the two. :)

Our first child was born when we were 18, but we were 17 for most of the pregnancy.

Everyone had an opinion; it was all negative, or at least strongly indifferent, lol.

I am married to the father of my children; we always wanted to be together, having our first baby before we were married just hurried our plans along, and changed the order a little bit.

We both finished high school a semester early, with some hard work. My husband wants to go to college "someday" but that'll probably be after we send our kids, lol.

We have two kids now, and just found out last night that there's another on the way *surprise* I'm pretty sure this will be the last.

What age did you have your first child??

20 yrs old, hubbie was 23

Did people ever question your decision to have children at an young age??

Oh, yes. My family was soooo upset. Of course, I hadn't lived at home for a couple years and was barely on speaking terms with them at the time, so I didn't really care.

Are the fathers active in your child's life?

Yep. :) We're married and have since had another daughter. He is a wonderful daddy.

Did you finish your education, when you got pregnant?

I was planning to go and finish college after Tom (hubbie) graduated, but then he was diagnosed with cancer and put everything on hold for a few years. He's just about to go back and finish his last few classes, then it's my turn. :)

How many kids do you have now and do you plan on having more?

2, and we'll probably have another one (or 2!). But if we don't, I'm happy with that too.
