Anyone seen this movie? I watched it for 3rd time about a week ago. This is one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen, despite the fact that it's very sad. Sofia Coppola is very talented!
i loved the colours in this movie and the dreamy memory days feel - beautiful. (and I must see Lost in Translation)
I watched the movie a few times...... I really liked it. I think it showed me that sometimes tragic saddness can even be beautiful. If that makes any sense.....
I agree with you guys...this movie is very beautiful. sad, but beatiful. the choice of actors couldnt have been better either. i have the book and ive only saw the movie once....i should buy it when im not broke.
Actually I didnt fulley understand what happened to the girl in the beginning. (during the party) Did she jump out the window onto the fence or something? (mind you my memory of this movie is fuzzy....saw it a long time ago). Well I do remember that I got really bored of it really quick and stopped watching. But it looks like everyone really enjoyed it so mabye I shouldve watched the rest of it. If anyone knows what happened to that girl, let me know cause I never did fulley figure it out.
it is a beautiful movie with such emotion and feeling within each of the sisters. the book brings more detail on the happenings of the sisters as well as the parents. i have both movie and book, and i haven't seen it in quite awhile, so to see this movie in the forums as reminded me to watch it once again..
Yeah, it's a good movie. Really quiet. The lack of talking and such clue you into the deeper things going on. You should read the book. It's SOSOSOSO good and SO much better than the movie.
Yeah, she jumped out of her window onto the fence. You really should watch the rest of the movie...its a really, really good movie
Me and my brother just watched it...at the end we both said wow, that's messed up. (in a very depressing way) Good movie... awesome feel to it.
