Ach, I got mine just before. I got an 'B' in my AS level Business retakes and 'A' for the first unit of business A2. Got 'B' for my general studies. Only got a 'C' for my AS Literature so need to resit. On a whole not bad for a stupid girl who only goes to half her lessons a week... Oh and I've not got my Health and Social Care grade yet...
OOOh see i finished college last year :S so i got all my resaults end of last year. makes more sence now

GOOD LUCK ALL YOU EXAM PEOPLE FOR THIS YEAR... like me old pal roly says, there ARE more important things in life to take care of.. (so if you getting stressed give yourslef a break and look after yourself for a while) and me says (( but unfortunatly.. we have to do these damn exams.. so work hard, get them down and kick some ass )) its summer sooon after, time to forget all your sorrows!
me gots a level results, hehehehe, i gots abcd!! a in pure maths 3, b in physics unit 4, c in pure maths 4 and d in mechanics 2. but i only need to retake one of p4 or m2 coz although ive already got an a in maths all together, i want to get 2 a's over all with the rest of the maths stuff im doing so im retaking one to get 10 extra marks to get an a and use my high marked stats and discrete and the higher pure when i do them to get my second a. im so awkward, im not even going to maths after this year. but i want to prove im more amazing than ever. hehee and then i found out that my mechanics3, physics5 and both my music tech written exams are all on the same day in june..... crap crap crap thats 4hrs and 40 mins of exams with little breaks inbetween. crap
Got A's in English Lit, History, Sociology and Media. Also in General Studies, but it's a wishy washy subject
I got a C in my first religious studies module, but apparently I wasn't very far off a B...so hopefully I'll get my grade up with the next couple of modules!
I got... - A in General Studies (100/100 in two papers and 78/100 in the science and maths one! Whee! A good grade in a useless subject!) - A in Sociology unit 5 (Theories and Methods A2, 86/90) - B in English Lit coursework retake AS (pulled it up from a C because my teacher is rubbish...not me, honest) - B in German AS (A for the speaking and Bs for the reading, writing and listening) They'll do for me, I can get into the uni I want with them providing I keep up with work for A2s!
I got A in Communication Studies (100% ) A in General Studies B in Sociology C in History C in English Lit (Craaaap teacher)
everyone getting these really good grades make me feel so angry at myself for doing badly when i jst had one subject to do!
No! Don't feel angry with yourself! I screwrd up BIG style last year. The results I got this year were all resits, that's the magic thing...you get 2 or 3 tries
exams are pointless maybe? to me they seem to be anyway, especcially psychology exams! my brain cannot realistically retain that much information and that many names and that many dates!
Sadly, exams aren't pointless in this country...I regard them as the easy (and obvious route) into a job. There are a million other ways, and some people aren't made for academia or 'normal' (and boring!) routes into work, but it's the way for me. Mneh.
I hate exams and the drive for academic qualifications. I love studying because that means learning, which is very interesting. I'd scrap a lot of the existing exams, and use only the really essential ones, so that most of the education system is geared towards teaching you for the sake of learning, rather than gearing you towards exams. SATS would definitely be the first to go, and AS' would be for the chop as well....
