March is Womyn's History month!

And a wonderful month it is too. A time of love and happiness. Until the last 5 days. *shudder*

haha gotta love those commericals and there's always flowers or someone swinging on a swing in those commericals.. Same with maxi pad or tampon commericals..

 

i don't like womens history or black history month. it's saying like hey we need a special time to celebrate these people because we don't want to hear about them all year.

 

Did I ever mention how that whole special spelling thing annoys the crap out of me? Argh! *feels a rant coming but bites her tongue.. eh.. fingers.. whatever*

Youre right of course, but having a special day/monthh/week/whatever brings more attention to the subject and makes people feel noble that we have set aside this time of remembrence.

i was married in april, and my daughter was born the following april.
