hahaha! I bet you saw that and were like o0o0o whats in here!? and yet its some crazily bored teenager who just thought of something crazy to put hehehe.... but I do have this peppermint lotion that makes me feets feel all tingly lol..........
mmm... peppermint lotion. I should get some, but the only stuff I ever see is supposed to be for feet and is outrageously overpriced. I'm sure the foot-stuff would be fine for my arms and such, but.. so pricey.
my peppermint lotion is homemade... mum says you cant trust what the crazy people in the store/factories put in it....so its all natural....
how do you make it into a lotion? I mean, I have peppermint oil and extract (from some cooking a while ago), but how does it get changed into lotion-format?
weeeeird... I just finished off my beer and was wondering where I put that new chapstick I bought yesterday, which happens to be burt's bees beeswax lip balm (baume pour les levres... man I love French labels, yay Canada).
usually we use milk and wheat germ so its not as thick as store bought lotions, 9 times outta ten the thicker it is the more fake it is and it actually has more chemicals in it, we also use a liquid lecithin (get it from pretty much any vitamin/supplement store), oil and water as a base... ermms if you want some recipes let me know and I can post some for you!!!
I also have recipes for lipgloss and awesome facemasks and other beauty products, if your interested just let me know, and if you dont have the time/patience to make it yourself let me know and I will make you some all you'd have to do is pay me shipping because thats a pain in the bum....
Recipe #1 ½ cup distilled water ½ cup oil (I usually use olive, almond, macadamia nut, or grape seed) 1 Tbsp liquid lecithin You can adding essential oils, combining other oils; you can steep beneficial herbs into your water before you add your oil, etc........ Blend all ingredients in the blender either on whip or cream. You will have a nice creamy firm lotion. Add more water to make a lighter lotion. Store in the refrigerator!!! AND DONT FORGET TO SHAKE before use! This is an example of one that I just did earlier today ( I have eczema and this totally helps!) ½ cup distilled water ½ cup olive oil 1 Tbsp liquid lecithin 6-8 drops of geranium oil 2-4 drops Myrrh oil 1-2 open capsules of Vitamin E oil Recipe #2 1 cup dried chamomile 4 tablespoons honey 1 cup milk 8 teaspoons wheat germ Leave chamomile in milk for a few hours. Strain, keeping liquid. Add honey and wheat germ to liquid mixture. Blend well. Place in a bottle. Refrigerate any used portions. Keeps up to a week....... ~~~~~~ ermmmms those are two lotion recipes... if your curious about anything else just let me know....
Lip-gloss Recipe: 1/4 cup and 2 teaspoons sweet almond oil 4 tablespoons grated beaswax 1 tablespoon honey 6 capsules pure vitamin e oil 1/4 teaspoon cocoa butter 2/3 drops essential oil ( I use peppermint) mix it up and scoop the goop into little 1/2 ounce tins... I get mine from like dollar bazzar/walmart or any craft store will work....its fun to make n I think it smells pretty good too, plus you KNOW whats in it...
