here is a poem I wrote a long time ago, so here it is

    Sleep and Death

Sleep is just a tiny taste of death
    If we fear death
    why don't we fear sleep

    When we sleep
we are in a death-like state
    for hours upon hours

    Also in that death-like state
    we dream, maybe in death

    We just dream forever

so what do you guys think?

ever so slightly morbid. Gets me thinking though, coz in psychology we're doing about sleep and dreaming and there's a disorder in which you seem to be dead, but not forever, just for a brief moment. they have these scanner things called EEG's and they read your brain waves and stuff, that's how they tell whether you are really asleep or just faking it, or in fact dead. Yay! I am learning, my brain is working again! :D

anyhoo, your poem the zen-man puck: morbid, beautifully written, simple and effective. It's good. How old were when you wrote it?
