    the music man is easily one of the funniest/most ridiculous musicals i've ever seen. also, the newsies. i won't say that they're good, just...uh...yeah.

    i'd really like to see a musical more in the style of 40's detective noir...in fact, i'll now take this opportunity to try to find one.

    I think most musicals are ok. I agree that anything ALW is usually pretty good. Anyone seen Phantom of the Opera in theaters? If you haven't you should. I'm a musical freak anyway, my life is pretty much a musical.

    My fav musical by far is Les Miserables. I can pretty much sing the whole show, badly, but I can do it.

    My favorite play is one called The Foreigner by Larry Shue. It's a hilarious look at discrimination. The Klan gets it's ass kicked!

    But there's so many! I love Hair, A Chorus Line, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q, The Music Man, and The Sound of Music.

    I'm not into musicals, but the one I liked the best was "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Must have seen the midnight shows about a dozen times.

    Rocky Horror, 7 brides for 7 brothers. as far as regular plays go i love Neil Simon 's Fools (and most his other stuff) and waiting for godot

    The Wizard of Oz is always a blast, especially whilst being run with Dark side of the moon.
