Bin Laden's hideout was discovered in March

New sources have revealed that, just a few months ago, they came within arm's reach of killing Osama Bin Laden.
"An anonymous tipoff led us to investigate a flat desert land just south of the Afghan capital." Explained Bob Shaw, an operative of the US Intelligence forces. "After several unsuccessful reconnaisance missions, we were ready to give up." But the recon forces went in for one final mission in the early hours of March the 3rd. "This time, we struck gold." Shaw commented at a press conference. "Our forces observed a secret cave opening, with a couple of Taliban operatives sneaking in. Imagine our surprise when they came back with detailed photographs of these operatives and, right there in the middle of the picture, we saw Bin Laden himself!"

US forces immediately began planning an attack to destroy this secret hideout and capture the terrorist leader. But, as with so many military plans, they faced some serious problems.

"We'd never considered some of the problems we might encounter in this situation." Mr Shaw recalls. "But suddenly, we realised that our actions would provoke retaliation. If America's forces were to capture Bin Laden, the terrorists that support him would do unthinkable atrocities in an effort to rescue him. If he were killed by an American bombing raid, the backlash would be just as fierce. So in the end, we decided that we'd have to work by stealth."

After a few days of planning, Operation: Infaltration began. US Intelligence managed to sneak a female operative into the Taliban hideout. Equipped with all that she needed to kill Bin Laden, she planned on contaminating the Taliban's water supply to poison Bin Laden and as many of the other Taliban operatives as possible.

Sadly, Operation infaltration never got past this stage. While she was in the terrorist hideout, the un-named female operative mixed up her Tampax with her Anthrax.

As Bob Shaw said at the end of the press conference: "She poisoned the wrong ****."
