OTC is one of my favorite groups; right this moment I'm listening to 'Animation Music: Black Foliage', which is by far the most psychedelic thing I've ever heard, both in the 60's pop and expirimental sense. They have a very full sound, and there are overtones of 66-67 Beatles, Pink Floyd and Beach Boys, but they've got a strong indie element as well. Their two albums I own, 'Black Foliage' and 'Dusk At Cubist Castle' both are very expansive and work best as a whole than divided into seperate cuts. They produced some of the most colorful, hallucinogenic pop music I've heard.

They're one of the Elephant 6 groups, another of which I adore just as much is Neutral Milk Hotel who they've colaborated with (all Elephant 6 groups collaborate together to some degree, I think). I'd advise anyone interested in either indie rock or psychedelia to inspect both these groups (In The Aeroplane Over The Sea by NMH being one of my all-time favorite albums).
