baby food in the garden

    i have my first baby shes awesome im nursing and growning her baby food this summer so far i have squash beets and carrots i was wondering if any one had more ideas for growing in maine soil. oh and when i want to store the food should i mash it up or freeze it in chunks. thx so much

    Have you tried posting in gardening? YOu can freeze things in ice cube trays mashed..pop one out as you need it.

    Not sure about plants (I have the dubious talent of killing every plant I touch through neglect) but it's wonderful that you are making the effort. Organic veggies are fab.

    as for storage: As Apple said mas the veg up and freeze little meal size portions in ice cube trays. Then just stick them in labelled freezer bags (trust me, you'll never remember what they are and everything looks the same)
