Inevitably it's going to happen, but what will we have learned? How to send digital signals through wires that span the world? How to make the biggest bomb? Who has the most "control" and "best" government? all these things that the world spends trillions of dollors on will be completely meaningless. Just an illusion. Many psychadelic induced experiences, and sober experiences of watching the world have lead me to the same place of ecstasy and understanding that there is so much more than the physical eye can see. I believe I've whitnessed a glimpse of "enlightenment" (if you will), a feeling that if learned one could make it rain or be sunny, only by feeling a certain way. It's love, it's hate, it's sacred, it's what makes the world spin and people make love. The only "thing" that makes it appear different is individual perceptions and interpretations creating different understandings, even though it's still of the same source. If people learned to understand that things just are, they could see all different sides to situations and then come to a realization that everything is sacred with potential to be "evil" or "good' depending on how it is used. Labeling a situation creates a fixed idea, and situations are constantly changing so that label immediately begins to fade from it's once truth. and I believe that if people accomplished this understanding the material Earth may "end" at that moment of mutual understanding. The journey of peace would be completed and begun. What I say is manifested from whitnessing anger, people killing each other for oil, for money, for something Irrelavant to life. A misunderstanding of what is. I believe LOVE will ultimately rule...because it already does.
have you read any of Carlos Castaneda's(sp) books? im not sure which it is, but its a lot like youre saying. I believe in one book he says that if enough people imagined or percieved something to be true, it would come true, because everyone is connected mentally through a giant network of perception. im sure hed make more sense on the matter
Right on brother. I give you lots of respect for that. I have had the same moments of understanding when on esctasy, acid and SOBER... they are there and once you realize them you fully under what the phrase "let it be" means. I dont know what it will take for love and nothingness to win.... but i know it will happen.... at least i hope so- im not so sure on that. but anyways, i enjoyed reading that so thanks a lot.

I haven't read any of Carlos Castaneda's books but a couple friends keep mention his name to me and I keep forgetting to look into his work...From what I've heard everyone could learn a lot from his writtings. Thanks for bringing him up, I'll be sure to read his books. It has taken me a while to come to the realizations I was talking about, not too long ago I would probably be skeptical of my current thoughts on life. It makes me happy to see another like mind out there, thank you.
