SPLENDA NOT SO SWEET... We've just learned that the company which makes the popular sugar substitute Splenda is one of a number of businesses who use a firm known as Huntingdon Life Sciences to test their products on animals... in this case beagles! One example of their horrific experiments involved beagle puppies that were starved before being force-fed the super-sweet sugar powder. HLS employees then took blood samples from the jugulars of the infant dogs. We urge you to join us in boycotting all Slenda products as well as those by any other companies that continue to support animal cruelty. More information about the campaign against Splenda can be found by clicking here.
I'm not gonna be able to do it I'm low-carbing it. Splenda is my only source of sweet. Shame on them , though
i have tried "sucralose"......its ok on strawberries ....but other then that it tasted funny it is in alot of products though............
______________ i wouldn't eat sugar subs if you paid me and definately wouldn't eat one you forced on a poor beagle. (My cyndi was half beagle. )
Splenda is the only product that I can use which does not leave me feeling ill. I cannot have sugar to begin with and the evil chemicals in aspartame give me a horrible headache. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE animals. However, you never really know. Anyone can make any claim and begin a protest. By the time you boycott everything that may or may not need to be boycotted, then you mine as well never shop. This company did not manufacture the product, rather they were in charge of testing it.
ok then, lemme rephrase that would you rather consume something which has not been previously tested to see if it will fuck you up
i saw a medication commercial a couple weeks ago and it said that in studies, death was one of the most common side effects. AWESOME
I love sugary/fattening/greasy/and anything else that means "unhealthy" foods so I promise to lay off the splenda
