How much time do you give yourself or feel you need from the time you wake up in the morning to the time you leave the house? (assuming, of course, that your life and day start at some morning hour).

I find that I need a MINIMUM of two hours and most people think this is crazy. Of course, I eat, make my bed, make lunch, shower, dress and sometimes throw laundry into the washer.

I can be out of the door in twenty minutes, but I'd rather have an hour and a bit to get ready, drink coffee etc.

15 minutes if I don't have to take a shower. I am a pro at brushing my hair and such in the car.

I think it takes me about 2 hours to actually wake up. I get up at 7:00, go straight for the coffee, and sit on my computer for an hour or so. I also like to make my bed and the boys beds. I pick the house up and put laundry in the washer/dryer.

I'm not a morning person. I can do a lot in the morning but I'm not a talker in the morning.

It's tough when there are children in the house in the morning. They seem to have A LOT to talk about first thing.

I used to work with my dad...it was awful just because of the morning talk....he would ask 5 questions within the first 2 minutes of seeing him.

Also, when i did film stuff and extra work in California I was exposed to way too much of this, especially getting there at 6 or 7 am and the wannabee actors are already writhing in fits of networking and bragging.
