I've found that coffee works quite well for that.

 

a mix of ketchup/mustard/mayo dripping out of a burger is a famous one. sphagetti sauce is the best for stains on clothes!

in this particular case sample i would recomend the logical conclusion that, OH IN FACT!, the bloody red pasta sauce has thus saved itself all alone.
