I know of honey, but I don't really know what it's effects are, except that it makes you a better.... ____? Do y'all have a list of other foods and beverages that aid in the formation of an awesome voice?
It is just the fact that dairy causes a mucus build up in your throat that can interfer with singing. The honey should be used before singing. The lemon should be used after.
I like my dogs, but I don't want anymore, and I find them annoying quite a bit... So does that mean honey's a bad thing? And why would a coal miner want a diamond...
It's carbon. Why should it have a monetary value. We have hydrogen in us... why aren't we valuable? ...
i agree. hearing "sweet child of mine" while trippin convinced me. i felt so in control of my voice...and i was hearing all the textures so well. but i wouldn't trip to sing better...haha. also, sometimes my voice gets really fucked up when i sing after smoking buds tho.
Stay away from chocolate, milk.. i honestly dont know why people say honey .. since it can cause some people to get phlemy and that's never good for singing. It IS good to kill bacteria, however. Great for a sore throat. Like my instructor told me : WATER WATER WATER.. it's your bestfriend.
the honey has to be dissolved in tea but as if finding a diamond in their coal mine isnt like the holiest thing for a cole miner.
Honey is recommended for soothing after singing as well, to ease the stress on the throat. The bottom line is, be nice to your voice, and take time to build a warm up routine that you can stick to. Each singer is different, but generally avoid heavy liquids like milk, as well as too many sweets. Sweets break down the coating on the chords, and actor friends tell me to avoid chocolate at all costs before going on. Each person knows what feels right, and as long as you warm up, and breathe right.
