Yeah...my setup was discovered today. Despite being stoners themselves, my parents are demanding I dispose of them. I really don't want to, especially not by destroying the plants. It's too early to attempt to plant them outside or "release them into the wild," so to speak. I dont know if anyone wants them, or if my parents will even allow me to stay the execution long enough to pass them to caring hands. Any suggestions??? =(
If you've got alright parents, and it sounds like u do, I would just be appreciative and destroy them, it's not that unreasonable of a thing to demand considering the DEA has tried to forfeit properties of folks whos kids were growing in the past. Forgot how the case worked out though. Unless you've got a buddy whos willin to hold on to them I'd say that's the way to go.
I think erowid is right. Unfortunately the drug laws (right or wrong) impose pretty stiff, disproportionately harsh penalties for drug procession and several of my friends have been caught. One in particular was doing really well in school and was super smart. He was caught with something (not sure what). I know he had to leave school, but again not sure why, haven't seen or heard from him since. If you're caught with drugs, you lose federal financial aid for college too, 99% sure about that. Very unfair! So, it wouldn't surprise me that your parents can get in trouble with the law too. At URI there's a group called Students for Sensible Drug Policy. It's a national orginization and the website is SSDP.org. They're fight'n the powers that be to change these discriminatory laws. The By the way, I live in RI too...Narragansett. I go to URI, incase you hadn't already guessed.
