I need some new sandals... I love going barefoot but I have a job and I need to have something on my feet... so I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere I could get some inexpensive leather free sandals that are comfy and will last a long time. Thanks everyone!
Get some Reef flip flops! I've had mine for years and they are the most comfortable thing I've ever worn! Only cost me $20. I think the style of them is called "smoothie" or something similar.
Oooh I love reefs! They are so comfy. A dog chewed mine up and I haven't gotten any more since but you just reminded me that I need some. They're the best.
If you have the money to fork over, i would invest in some good ol birkenstocks, they have leather free items, and the price seems a little high for sandles, but they will last you many moons.
THanks everyone! I think im going to try the nomadic state rope sandals...b ecause they are vegan and help out poor countries and are just generally nice people and the sandals look comfy and tehy recycle their scraps... I was thinking about getting some for my little boy since he can walk this summer,...(should be interesting) and shineon youcrazydiamond I would love some birkenstocks I had them from 6 grade to about a year ago... but somehow I lost them... I cant afford a new pair pluse I like the sound of hte rope sandals so we will se how they work out and hopefully will last me many summers and years like my birks did!
i have had a pare of sandels from eath shoe that i have had since 10th grade and i have been out of highschool for 2 years now.
I have a pair of these, different brand. Burkees or something. My friend is borrowing them sadly :\. She has them for 3 weeks and hasn't given them back. Oh well. But yes, they are very comfortable, look cool, and have that sort of naturalness to them. The price is worth it.
rope soles wear out quickly. pony up the bucks and get (is Bree here?) Chacos www.chacosan.com made in the us (Paonia is where the Colo burner event is held) no leather. replaceable soles.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How'd I know this post would pop up... *giggle* Actually, and don't pass out, I plan on getting a pair of Chacos for this summer. *grins*
well, bree, I knew you'd come to your senses! Oh, wrote a service dog article last week. Down Syndrome kiddo with Nemo.
