But seriously, I've noticed that some people are all hyped up about protesting and fighting the system. But some people (not saying all) don't get all the facts and some are not educated enough to argue a good point. Good vocabulary and extensive knowledge on the part you rprotseting makes you that much stronger. Sure you can put a protest sign in a monkey's hand and you'll get a few results but put it in a talking monkey's hand and your results change greatly. I'm not saying you have to be a know-it-all or a walking dictionary, but know what you preach, be able to communicate directly, and be able to answer or direct people to answers for their questions. With knowledge comes power - peace

Yeah... I agree with you... David Crosby said there's nothing like 500,000 screaming "fuck" as a protest(regarding playing Woodstock '69 with CSNY). Anyone can make a sign but if you have no facts, how are you going to explain why you have the sign...

I couldn't agree more.

One area where I see this a lot is with environmentalists. The movement seems to have been hijacked by politicos, and today seems to have a lot more to do with anti-globalism then ecology.

I don't mind if people are anti-corporatist, but I think a lot of those people don't know what the hell they're talking about...

 

Agreed and there's no doubt that I love intellenge. But even a child know right from wrong.
