HELP! can hippies listen to punk?

i figured id ask all of yall. i love punk and meatle and i was wondering if we usually listen to punk and stuff thats what i was raised on i dont go out and kill preps or any thing and your replies will help me alot. THANKS ALL!

Nope, page 65 section 4-d of the rule book clearly states "No hippies shall listen to music other than Jam bands and folk, blues will be permited in some cases, and psycadelic rock is allowed. No other music shall be listened to, man" so there you have it, but if you have the rule book you could look it up, you do have the rule book, don't you?

just kidding darlin', you can listen to whatever you want, and do whatever you want, there aren't rules to being a hippie. You have gone through the initiation though, haven't you?

the best advice i can give is, forget about scenes, it's just a stupid labeling system.

 

Punk holds roots in communism, and anarchy, most hippies do to. Punks, hippies, rastas, and monks/ nuns, are all on the same side. We just want peace or heaven on earth.

relax in the knowledge that both the punk and hippy scenes were things that happened in the past, so rigid rules between those genres are dead...its all post modern now.
