I'm only like 200 miles south of Regina in northeastern Montana. I know nothing about Regina or Saskatoon, anyone here have any advice as to what to do and see there? Is it worth a trip? I'm thinking visiting soon.

the cypress hills in sw sask. i hear are worth seeing, its a spot that didnt get ground off by the glaciers - hilly and such. I've been to regina once or twice, its a small city, you might find a good band there or something. the countryside is big and sparsely populated on the way there... i cant give sask a thumbs down, but i dont know anything else to reccomend there either. oh moosejaw? i think is the city that has tunnels under it that al capone is reported to have hid out in.

Regina's supposed to have a really good dance club called New York or something similar. Dunno, haven't been to Regina in years.

I like Saskatoon, but I'm not going to spend my life here. The bars/clubs are decent... not amazing, but remember the drinking age here is 19 so probably a bit of a younger crowd than you're used to seeing out in the bars. I hear that this bar Beily's is really good too, a bit older of a crowd (25-40ish, rather than 19-25ish).

go during the summer, and hit the Fringe Festival on Broadway (around the first week of August)... it's A LOT of fun! I adore it. Best time of the year, if you ask me.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it might be more alive than eastern Montana.
