    Hiya!
My SO and I will be making our first trip to Amsterdam in July and we wanted to learn some Dutch before we go. Can anyone recommend a good CD to learn?

It's not absolutley necessary to learn Dutch to
    survive Amsterdam, btw. Almost everybody
speaks English and even prefer it. But still it's
good of you to learn it, I found it way too hard
personally, after I spent a while on the site below.

Forget learning Dutch before you go as most natives it seems would prefer to converse in English to avoid hassles.

Not unless you're fluent or have some hope to be so. I wouldn't recommend attempting to have a coversation.

The fact that 95% of the Dutch speak English is part of the beauty that is Amsterdam.
