Do you ever get the feeling you need a hearing aid. (Well I do) I was listening to someone talk the other day and when the person finished the sentence I questioned it. When I repeated the sentence back, the person laughed and thought I was crazy. I don't remember the exact sentence but it would be simular to this one. I'd love to go out for Mexican. (My sentence) I'd love to know more sex again. (or something just as ridiculious) right now it's just funny but I fear that if I don't go get my ears checked out than I'll end up regretting it.
AHAHAHA! Lately I seem to be having the same problem. I'm constantly asking what? huh? could you repeat that? did you just say ....?
I always have to do that, especially if there's background noise. Somehow people at my work don't realize that the oven etc directly behind me is loud. I even tell them I have a hearing problem and that they're going to have to talk louder with me. I did have a hearing test a few years ago, but they said my hearing was normal.... probably because it's only bad when there's other noises going on as well.
I hate it when you tell a person that you can't hear them and they repeat what they had said in the same soft voice lol.
my mom always talks to me in a super soft voice or she'll have a whole convo from another room and all i hear is mumbling
I hate it when someone is talking to me and i dont know it, because they failed to get my attention first. then i feel them blankly staring at me, so I look up and say, "huh" I mean thats what i got a namefor. use it!
__________ it's even more fun when you become a pet or something. I've ssen people snap their fingers to get someone's attention. I don't do it or have I had it done to me.(if it was done to me I paid it no attention lol.)
i always feel like i need to check my hearing.. I cant hear worth a shit. It really bugs me at times. cuz i think people must think i am rude or an idiot because its like i am always saying "sorry what did you say" or "huh" or "ya ok whatever" My mom talks in a soft voice too, at first i thought it was just me that couldnt hear her, but finally my nephew trevor told her "grandma, you have to speak up no one can freakin hear a word you are ever saying" i didnt feel so bad then
