It kind of bothers me now which is weird. It didn't bother me until just now and it's not like it's important or anything. (It just bothers me enogh to remember it for the post lol.) I was in school and I was not a fancy dresser by any means. (I was clean and my clothes didn't have holes in them so that was pretty good and on very good days I had less than 7 different colors on which earned me the nick name rainbow lol.) Well anyway, I remember this guy the was on the football team ,(Let's call him Hector 'cause that's as far away from his name as we can get lol.) He was ok looking, tall and he played football which was ok by me. He and some of the other guys use to pick at me for my panache. Well to make a long story short (haha too late) my mom decided that I needed to change my looks for the year book snapshots. I got beauty parlor hair and a brand new maroon pantsuit. (I looked pretty darn good.) I even looked good to Hector, so good that he started flirting with me. We had a date but I won't share that even at this time lol.(*remind me later it was pretty funny lol.) This finally brings me to my point. Why did new hair and new clothes make me into someone that a guy could like?
Well it could have something to do with the change in look you took on. Perhaps these guys were so used to seeing you dress the way you typically dress and when you did dress differently they were just astonished. Does it make it right that they should only like you for that new temporary look? Of course not, but it's gonna happen. Maybe you appeared to be more welcoming with that look....who knows. But I'm sure you are welcoming no matter how YOU dress. Kinda like if you meet someone, like an older guy who has a big bushy beard who smells funky, looks rough and just seems unapproachable but then one day they come in and they have shaved thier beard, they took a shower, they washed their clothes and just seemed to have a softer side of them, it might make you feel more comfortable to approach them....no we shouldnt single people out for the way they look but it is society and it does happen. Doesnt mean we should condone these actions tho just b/c 'its how society is'.
__________________ Wow, you are the first person ever to ask me to tell a story lol. Well here goes. Like I had mentioned in my previous post I made a new friend in a guy that I named Hector. Well Hector and I decided to spend some time together (That's called a date but it's been so long that I can't remember that word lol.) One day we came back to my house and were kissing on the couch. (Typical teens I guess) Well anyway, Hector was really dark and it was about 7:30PM in the late summer and while we were kissing my mom decided that it was time to closed the downstairs blinds. Unfortunately she was wearing a tank top with no bra and a pair of panties (Minus the pants) Well, to make a long story short and because it abruptly ended my date, she let a a blood curdling scream and tried unsuccessfully to cover everything visible while ordering my boyfriend out the house. Let's just say she was quite mad and embarrassed and unfortunately for me, that ended my dating experience with Hector. (I guess the thought of someone's mother running into the living room half naked wasn't exactly a turn on to him lol.) That event help me to date away from home lol
teenage boys (and I know because I have dated some) are shallow by nature...this is an enzyme or something...I don't plan on marrying any of them, but my older sister tells me they get less this way when theyre older, and start to care more about whats on the inside...but as long as theyre in High School with all that peer pressure they can be quite shallow...of course there are always a select few that aren't so bad...
____________ I'd like to think this was true. I know that it is but not all the time from experience. I know guys in their 20's and 30's that still play nitendo, read comic books while they are out with women and keep their headphones or cellphone on at all times. (Let's all hope we don't get that kind lol.)
it's not just guys, women are shallow too, everyone can be shallow, people are just superficial twits, but they usually pay later on. i think most of the time they are just in it for the nookie. sorry if it sounds like im rambling i really dont know what im talking about myself ive had a long day and im exhausted. ps: nothing wrong with playing nintendo!!! i still play games pps: funny Hector story, i would hardly ever let guys come to my house, my family are too embarissing.
most people dont want to come over coz they're scared of my dad. once i went over to an ex's place and his mum chased me down to show me naked baby photos of him. he was pretty pissed off. infact it seemed most times i went over there it was a tug of war between his mum and him on who would have my attention. he would literally pick me up and wrench me out of the room when im in the middle of talking to his mum. id heard stories of mothers doing the baby photos thing but i never actually thought it would happen to me.
